One of the things we've all lost during this pandemic is the opportunity to get out and meet new colleagues from across the industry and discuss different strategies for dealing with important subjects in economic development, such as corporate site selection, business retention and support, workforce attraction, and talent development. While admittedly not quite the same as a lively discussion in a conference room (or at the conference hotel bar), our popular EDO Roundtable webinar series has nevertheless clearly resonated as a way to gather voices from different regions to discuss strategies for managing these challenging times.
