Tonya Brown

Royse City has been a real blessing to our family. Living just outside the city limits, we enjoy the slow pace of country living, while still having big-city conveniences nearby. I especially love the quaintness of our historic downtown district on Main Street.  Being a wife and mother of 2 wonderful children, it was important to me and my husband that our children have plenty of space to explore, play, and grow. For 12 years, I worked at home raising our family, and now I enjoy working for the Royse City Community Development Corporation, where I was hired in 2013, serving in dual roles as Administrative Assistant and CDC Board Secretary.  As a Rotarian, I enjoy serving my community as a Treasurer, Secretary, and now a Director of our local Rotary Club.  While Royse City has experienced tremendous growth, downtown Main Street remains close to our hearts, and we are intentional about keeping it a viable yet quaint part of our ever-growing economy.  – I can’t think of any place I’d rather live.
