Annual FunFest coming to downtown Royse City in two weeks

Area families looking for a fun weekend activity can look forward to Royse City’s 34th FunFest scheduled for Oct. 19.

Including live music, food trucks, a KidZone, ice cream and pizza eating contests, about 200 vendors and other entertainment, this year’s FunFest will start at noon in downtown Royse City and be centered around the intersection of Main and Arch streets.

Musical entertainment at this year’s FunFest will be divided between the main stage and another at Cookston Court. As of Tuesday of this week, a list of performers for this year’s FunFest has not been released.
