Texas Wins Governor’s Cup For Ninth Consecutive Year

AUSTIN, TX – Texas was awarded the Governor’s Cup Award from Site Selection Magazine for the ninth consecutive year.
The award highlights top-performing states for job creation and capital investment. Texas was No. 1 for its total number of projects, reporting 781 projects in 2020. This is a record-breaking ninth year in a row that Texas has won this coveted award and the 17th overall win — more than any other state.
In his remarks, the Governor acknowledged Texans that contributed to this achievement.
