Three Texas metropolitan areas with populations exceeding 1 million have been ranked in the Top 10 Metros in 2020 for total number of economic development projects and two Texas metropolitan areas with populations less than 200,000 ranked in the Top 10 in their category, Site Selection magazine announced in March.
Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington ranks No. 2 with 262 projects; Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land ranks No. 3 with 213 projects; and Austin–Round Rock ranks No. 6 with 84 projects.
