Royse City ISD Finance team earns Award of Merit

ROYSE CITY, TX – December 14, 2020 — The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) has released the list of 53 educational organizations recognized for following best practices in the area of purchasing operations. Royse City ISD made the list and will be honored in February during TASBO’s annual conference.
“The Award of Merit of Purchasing Operations is an indicator of sound financial practices and good stewardship of taxpayer dollars,” said Chief Financial Officer Byron Bryant. “Purchasing Director Angel McCrary and the entire finance team works diligently all year to ensure that soundness and dedication to stakeholders. I am so grateful for this finance team!”
